LOCC-Box-M - Mini Giant of the ECBs
LUTZE is expanding the offering of the successful and long-standing electronic circuit breaker (ECB) family, LOCC-Box, by adding a single-channel LOCC-Box-M (Mini) with a smaller form factor.
LUTZE is expanding the offering of the successful and long-standing electronic circuit breaker (ECB) family, LOCC-Box, by adding a single-channel LOCC-Box-M (Mini) with a smaller form factor.
With the LOCC-Box-M (p/n 716480), a selective adjustment of the load is possible on the basis of five patented, analog tripping characteristics from fast – for sensors and actuators - to slow 3 for motors and fans. Thanks to the compact design of the electronic circuit breaker LOCC-Box-M, it is the ideal replacement for miniature circuit breakers (MCBs) in control applications. With an installation depth of only 86 mm, a height of 92 mm and an overall width of 8.1 mm, the LOCC-Box-M ECB is suitable for installations in smaller control enclosures.
The required current range can be individually adjusted in 1 A steps within a range of 1 to 8 A. With up to 40 possible setting configurations by adjusting the rotary switches, the chosen setting can be secured with the lock-out feature. The LOCC-Box-M is a user-friendly plug-and-play device with simplified positive and negative termination without the need of additional modules. The LED status indication light shows the operating status and any faults in the load circuit. With the use of multiple LOCC-Box-M modules, a simple group structure for collective fault messages is possible. The status output, remote set/reset and supply terminals can be looped via jumper combs. The direct connection to the load with + and - reduces the cabling and additional materials which may reduce costs.
LOCC-Box Electronic Circuit Breaker OverviewLUTZE LOCC-Box electronic circuit breakers provide reliable load monitoring and protection in 24V DC control circuits. Innovative features include adjustable trip current range (1-10A), patented adjustable characteristics (fast, med, slow 1, slow 2 and slow 3), LED signaling at 90% overload ratio, remote reset and remote on/off functions. In addition to factory floor applications, LOCC-Box ECBs serve very well in remote locations and other hard to access applications. Narrow construction ensures compact design even with multi-channel configurations. No derating required as LOCC-Box functions independently of ambient temperature. The LOCC-Box devices are UL 508 and UL 2367 Listed.
Additional features such as gateway communication capabilities for remote monitoring and analysis are possible with the LUTZE LOCC-Box Net. Optional LOCC-Pads software offers the possibility for custom parameter setting, analysis and diagnostics. These are just some of the intelligent features of the LUTZE LOCC-Box electronic circuit breakers.
