JOB DESCRIPTION
We are looking for a talented IT Manager that thrives in a fast-paced environment. This is an on site full-time position. Under direction from our outsourced IT company, the IT Manager will analyze current systems and assets, recommend and implement solutions and upgrades, and provide training.
The ideal candidate has extensive knowledge of network/domain maintenance and experience as a manager. The IT Manager will have an immediate impact on the day-to-day efficiency of our operations. Maintain essential IT infrastructure, including operating systems, security tools, applications, servers, email systems, laptops, desktops, software, and hardware. Take responsibility for projects and solutions within the larger business initiative. Handle business-critical IT tasks and systems administration. Research and evaluate emerging technologies, hardware, and software. Track and maintain hardware and software inventory.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Proactively maintain best practices for domain policies, servers and network devices and workstations
- Develop a DR and Backup plan
- Work with 3rd party vendors to manage 3rd party software and services
- Identifying and acting on opportunities to improve and update software and systems.
- Collaborate with departmental leaders to document and improve business processes. Identify and implement application improvements to support these processes.
- Overseeing and determining the need for major IT projects including system updates, upgrades, migrations, and outages
- Directs technological research by studying organization goals, strategies, practices, and user projects
- Running regular checks on network and data security
- Developing and implementing IT policy and best practice guides for the organization
- Conducting regular system audits
- Collaborate with and maintain communications with executives and department heads in the organization
- Providing direction for vendors and service providers
SKILLS
- Bachelor's or master's degree in a computer field
- Five or more years of IT work experience
- Project Management
- ERP experience
- Microsoft SQL experience preferred
- Knowledge of domains/networks and programming languages and operating systems (ex: Microsoft Exchange, Active Directory)
